Mom, 2 Children Killed in Denver Shooting

DENVER (AP) — Two children under 10 years old and a woman were killed, and a third child was wounded in an apparent shooting at a house in northeast Denver, police said Wednesday.
That child is in critical condition at Denver Health Medical Center.
The shooting appears to have been isolated, and there’s no indication a shooter is on the loose, police Cmdr. Ron Saunier said.
“Is there a mass killer or someone running around? At this time, we don’t believe so,” he said.
The neighborhood is in an industrial area, surrounded by warehouses and a trucking terminal, near the National Western Stock Show complex.
Neighbor Debbie Martinez said the house was recently sold.
