Marshals add 4 to ‘Most Wanted’ list

United States Marshals in the District of New Mexico have added four violent fugitives to its Most Wanted list, according to a news release.

The four are:

Woodrow Colwell, wanted on 18 counts of incest and criminal sexual contact by force or coercion of a minor.

Colwell is accused of sexually molesting two minor children over a period of about four years, and he is believed to have impregnated one of the children, resulting in the birth of a child.

He failed to appear in court on Jan. 4, 2010, and has eluded capture for three years, the marshals said. He is believed to be in New Mexico and has ties to Las Cruces, Gallup and Albuquerque, as well as Arkansas and Mexico.

Omar Luis Cota, who is wanted for drug trafficking offenses and conspiracy.

According to the marshals service, Cota had been living in southwest Albuquerque, is part of Albuquerque’s Brew-Town Locos gang and is believed to be affiliated with the Sinaloa drug cartel.

He has used the aliases of Samuel Olivas, Samuel Archuleta and Angel Camacho, the marshals said. Cota has been on the run since February 2012 and is considered armed and dangerous.

Richard Aragon was convicted in 2005 of attempted rape and is wanted out of Valencia County for sex offender registration violations.

Marshals urge caution if Aragon is located because of his violent criminal history.

Anthony David Sanchez is wanted by the Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office for sex offender registration violations, the marshals said.

He was convicted of criminal sexual penetration by force or coercion in 2008, and his criminal history includes arrests for property crimes and crimes against the public, according to the release. He is believed to be in the Albuquerque metro area.
