Second Street closed near Prosperity Ave.

A water main leak over the weekend has forced Bernalillo County to temporarily close Second Street north of Prosperity Ave. to make emergency repairs. The road will be closed until at least late Wednesday. According to a county news release, the leak caused a major road collapse. The Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority will make emergency repairs so the road can be opened back up to traffic. Until then, traffic can detour to Rio Bravo Blvd., to Broadway then to Prosperity Ave.
