Determining how much water the silvery minnow needs

Federal officials are deep in negotiation regarding how much water is needed in the Rio Grande to meet the needs of the endangered silvery minnow.

As part of that process, the US Fish and Wildlife Service prepared the following briefing slides on the agency’s current thinking regarding the minnow’s needs and the approaches to be taken to meet them:
