Witnesses say the suspect entered the bank at 4384 W. Rodeo Road and gave a teller a note demanding money at approximately 1:44 p.m., according to an FBI news release.

The suspect handed a bag to the teller, who put some money in it and handed it back to the suspect, who then left the bank.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 50s or 60s, approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a medium build. He wore eyeglasses; a green baseball cap with an unknown logo; a light-colored, hooded jacket with “Nautica” printed on the front in capital letters; jeans; and white shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Albuquerque FBI Office at 505-889-1300 (24 hours) or Santa Fe Police Department, 505-955-5033.
