
Surveillance photo shows suspect in Monday afternoon bank robbery at Wells Fargo Bank on W. Rodeo Road in Santa Fe.
SANTA FE — A man robbed a Wells Fargo Bank in Santa Fe on Monday afternoon, taking an undisclosed amount of money.
Witnesses say the suspect entered the bank at 4384 W. Rodeo Road and gave a teller a note demanding money at approximately 1:44 p.m., according to an FBI news release.
The suspect handed a bag to the teller, who put some money in it and handed it back to the suspect, who then left the bank.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 50s or 60s, approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a medium build. He wore eyeglasses; a green baseball cap with an unknown logo; a light-colored, hooded jacket with “Nautica” printed on the front in capital letters; jeans; and white shoes.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the suspect’s arrest and conviction.
