Drought watch: third driest water year (so far) on record for Albuquerque

The folks at the National Weather Service have updated a striking graphic showing how dry it has been in Albuquerque since Oct. 1 (the “water year”):

The brown line is what an average year would look like. The blue line is the wettest year in the record. The miserable purple, green and red are the worst years on record, including this one.
