It’s all poetry and music on Sunday

Spoken word and classical music.

That’s what’s on the agenda for the Sunday Chatter program beginning at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, March 10 at The Kosmos, 1715 Fifth NW. The program will feature an aria from W.A. Mozart’s opera “La Clemenza di Tito,” Franz Schubert’s “Shepherd on the Rock” and Luigi Bassi’s “Fantasy on Themes from ‘Rigoletto.’ ” The spoken-word portion will feature readings by four of the eight poets whose work recently was published in the collection “8 Voices.” The four are Tony Mares, Nathan Brown, Karla Morton and Alan Birkelbach.

Tickets at the door are $15 general public, $9 students and those under 30, and $5 for kids.
