Albuquerque sets record

Correction: Albuquerque’s high Friday, March 15, tied the record of 77 set in 2007.

Albuquerque’s semi-official high of 77 at the National Weather Service’s airport thermometer this afternoon fell two degrees short of the record for the day. The record, 79, was set in 2007.

Expect a warm weekend, but not quite that warm, with highs in the low to mid 70s Saturday and Sunday, accompanied by increasing wind.
