Banff brings a fest of movies to N.M.

Then the Banff Mountain Film Festival is for you. The annual film festival will screen at the Lensic Performing Arts Center, 211 W. San Francisco in Santa Fe at 7 p.m. Monday, March 18 and Tuesday, March 19. It also will screen at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 20 and Thursday, March 21 at the KiMo Theatre, 423 W. Central.

This year the festival features 79 films from around the world dealing with outdoor or extreme sports. There will be six of the 79 films screened at both of these events.

Tickets for the Lensic show are $16 per night and are available at www.ticketssantafe.org. The KiMo shows are $12 per night and tickets are available at www.kimotickets.com.
