He’s picked up a couple Grammys.

Singer/songwriter Jason Mraz will perform in Albuquerque in August at Sandia Amphitheater.
And owns the record for his single, “I’m Yours” spending 76 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
Oh, he’s coming to Albuquerque, too.
Jason Mraz will perform on Aug. 29 at Sandia Amphitheater. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 22 at www.ticketmaster.com or 800-745-3000. The prices range from $55-$65 plus applicable service charges.
Mraz picked up Grammy Awards for his singles, “Make It Mine” and “Lucky” from in 2010. The awards were for best male pop vocal performance and best pop collaboration with vocals, respectively.
Mraz burst onto the scene in 2002 with his successful debut album, “Waiting for My Rocket to Come.”
Three years later, he released “Mr. A-Z,” but it wasn’t until his 2008 album, “We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.” when Mraz broke through commercially.
His single, “I’m Yours” became a radio staple and was nominated for song of the year at the 2009 Grammy Awards.
The single is the 10th best-selling digital song of all time in the U.S., selling more than 6 million downloads and 9.5 million worldwide. It remains Mraz’s biggest hit single in the USA.
Mraz is touring in support of his current album, “Love is a Four Letter Word,” which spawned the No. 1 single, “I Won’t Give Up.”
Mraz lives a health-conscious lifestyle owns an avocado farm in Bonsall in Northern San Diego County, Calif.
He is an active supporter of several charities including “VH1′s Save The Music Foundation,” “MusiCares,” “Free the Children,” and others. He has also advocated LGBT rights.
