Man shot during robbery attempt in Milan, N.M.

New Mexico State Police are looking for a pair of robbers who attempted to rob a diner and shot a 65-year-old man in Milan, N.M.

The injured man, Richard Ridard, was reported in stable condition at a local hospital.

The attempted robbery and shooting took place at about 1 a.m. Saturday morning at the Wow Diner in Milan, a small community in Cibola County northwest of Grants, N.M. Anyone with information is asked to call Sgt. Christian with New Mexico State Police at 505-841-9256.
