Country star Keith Urban will perform at Sandia Amphitheater in August.

Keith Urban, the TV show’s first-year judge, will begin touring as soon as the season wraps up in mid-May.

The “Light The Fuse Tour 2013″ will have a total of 45 dates, which includes an Aug. 28 date at Sandia Amphitheater.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5 at www.ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices range from $65-$80 plus service fees.

Urban will bring along guests Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch.

Urban is recording a new album, but there is no release date set.

After 10 years of working with producer Dann Huff, Urban indicated last fall that he had begun working with a new group of songwriters and producers — including producer Jay Joyce, who has worked with Eric Church and Little Big Town.

Urban made his solo American debut in 1999 with the album “Keith Urban.”

It was certified platinum in the U.S., it also produced his first American No. 1 with “But for the Grace of God.”

His breakthrough hit was the No. 1 “Somebody Like You,” from his second Capitol album “Golden Road.”

The album also earned Urban his first Grammy Award win for “You’ll Think of Me,” its fourth single and the fourth Billboard No. 1 of his career.

In 2004, he released “Be Here,” which produced three more No. 1′s and became his highest-selling album, selling more than four million copies.

“Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing” was released in 2006, producing the record-setting No. 17 country chart debut of “Once in a Lifetime,” as well as Urban’s second Grammy for the song “Stupid Boy.”
