A new Which Wich sandwich shop is coming to the Paseo del Norte corridor.
The New Mexico franchisee for Which Wich plans to open another location of the popular sandwich shop next month near the intersection of Paseo del Norte/Louisiana NE.
Owner Matt Kuchar said the restaurant will go inside 1,900 square feet of existing space in the Sedona Pointe shopping center and should be open by early May.
The city’s original Which Wich — located across from University of New Mexico — has developed a such strong following since it opened 4½ years ago that “sometimes our line wraps halfway through the restaurant,” Kuchar said.
He has high hopes for the new location given its proximity both to a few local high schools and to the Journal Center corridor.
The Which Wich brand originated in Dallas 10 years ago and features a menu of about 50 different sandwiches. The shops are known for their ordering system: Customers write on special sandwich bags to indicate the sandwich and variety of fixings they want.
The address for the new shop is 8110 Louisiana Blvd NE, Suite F.
