Beginning today, the Sandoval County Treasurer’s office will be open longer hours for the convenience of those who need to come in person to pay taxes.
Staff will be at the windows on the first floor of the County Administration Building from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until June 28, when the period to pay the first half of the year’s property tax ends.
The first-half tax payment season starts May 10. The new hours will accommodate citizens who want to make payments on delinquent taxes as well as anyone who wants to pay the current year’s taxes early.
