Man sought in NW ABQ home invasion

Albuquerque police detectives are continuing to investigate a reported home invasion/residential burglary that occurred early Monday in the 2000 block of Sea Breeze NW, APD Public Information Officer Tasia Martinez said in a news advisory.

A caller told police that a black male with a thin build (possibly weighing around 165 pounds), 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing  a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants entered the home with a handgun around 6:07 a.m. and stole the occupants’ belongings, Martinez said.

The caller said the man pointed a gun at him and locked him in the bathroom, police said.

There were two females and a juvenile in the house at the time, the caller told police.

So far no one is in custody, police said.
