Welcome to the Albuquerque Journal’s Voter Guide for the 2012 general election.
Scroll down through the guide to find key dates, candidate profiles and Q&As in contested races, links to all published news stories, analyses, fact checks and explanations of ballot issues, including bonds and constitutional amendments.
The Journal guide is generally organized in ballot order. It starts with the presidential race and descends through Congress and state offices, including the Legislature, to county government and City of Albuquerque ballot issues — specifically the I-25 -Paseo del Norte interchange and the minimum wage proposal.
Just click on what you want to read.
We will be adding stories and information as the election season progresses, but much of the information you need already is here.
The Voter Guide is available online only and is a free-access offering of the Albuquerque Journal. Additional enterprise reports by Journal staffers on candidates and issues are available only to Journal subscribers.
We think you will be able to find what you need to participate in the Nov. 6 general election, either through early voting or on Election Day. If you have additional questions, contact your county clerk’s office or the Journal’s state government and politics desk at 505-823-3911 or 505-823-3912.
