More Paseo Improvements Also Mean More Delays

Journal Staff Report
Drivers should expect delays starting Monday as a Paseo del Norte road improvement project gets under way.
Paseo del Norte will have various lane closures for paving work in both directions from Jefferson to Second Street from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each weekday and Saturdays through Aug. 9, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The work takes place at the same time that Alameda in both directions is also having various lane closures between the river to past the railroad tracks for paving work. The Alameda work is ongoing from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day through Aug. 1.
In an unrelated Paseo job, eastbound Paseo del Norte from the railroad tracks to Jefferson will have the two right lanes closed for utility work from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each evening from Monday through Thursday.
