N.M. Transportation Worker Found Dead in ABQ

Associated Press
Police are investigating the death of a New Mexico Department of Transportation employee who was found dead outside a state warehouse.
Police said another employee arriving at work Thursday morning discovered the man's body.
The man, whose name was not immediately released, suffered injuries to his torso, police said.
"We are saddened and shocked by this senseless act of violence that took the life of one of our longtime employees,'' Transportation Secretary Rhonda Faught said in a statement issued Thursday. "Our prayers and thoughts are with the employee's family and friends during this difficult period.''
Faught said that because of the ongoing investigation the department was not at liberty to identify the employee.
She added that the department was cooperating with police and would be offering counseling to other workers affected by the incident.
