Worker Killed at I-40 and Coors

Associated Press
A worker was killed when the roller he was driving fell about 35 feet from an offramp at an Interstate 40 construction site in Albuquerque.
The man died early Tuesday morning at the construction site at I-40 and Coors Boulevard, said Capt. Mike Paiz of the Albuquerque Fire Department.
The worker suffered head injuries in the fall, said Paiz, who did not release the man's identity.

Twin Mountain construction workers load a 27,000 pound, double-drum asphalt roller onto a flatbed truck. The construction vehicle was involved in a fatal accident when a driver with 20 years of experience fell over the side of a ramp under construction to the Coors overpass at Ouray at 3 a.m. Tuesday.
