Wrestler Found Guilty of Abuse
LOS LUNAS — A jury returned a mixed bag of findings Thursday in the trial of Cody East, a former Los Lunas High School wrestler charged with injuring several girls during an underage drinking party at his parent’s home last summer.

Suit Filed in Bernalillo Botulism Death
Christopher Caffrey lived alone in a Bernalillo mobile home with his two dogs before his painful, lingering death last year — the victim, according to a lawsuit filed by his estate in state District Court, of botulism poisoning from a can of Castleberry’s Austex chile that became part of a nationwide recall.
