Richardson Names 2 To Game Commission

Associated Press
SANTA FE — Gov. Bill Richardson has added a new member to the state Game Commission and reappointed another.
Richardson on Saturday named Oscar A. Simpson III of Albuquerque to the seven-member board and reappointed Dutch Salmon of Silver City.
Simpson is the public land organizer for the New Mexico Wildlife Federation and a board member of the state chapter of Republicans for Environmental Protection.
Richardson says Simpson has been a champion for conservation and preservation of wildlife and habitat.
The governor says Salmon has been a leading voice for the reintroduction of several endangered species, including otters and Mexican gray wolves.
