Militia in Arizona Seeking Volunteers for Border Watch

Associated Press
SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. — The leader of the Cochise County Militia said the group is looking for volunteers to watch for illegal activity along the U.S.-Mexico border over the July Fourth weekend.
Militia founder Bill Davis said they are trying to get local residents to join in small groups.
The border watch is scheduled to take place from Friday night until Monday morning.
Davis refused to say what specific areas of the border will be watched for alleged drug smuggling and human trafficking because of security concerns.
Davis said he told Cochise County authorities, the Border Patrol and the Bureau of Land Management about the militia's plans for this weekend.
