FBI Investigates Fatal Beating in Four Corners

      SHIPROCK — The FBI in Arizona is investigating the beating death of a Sweetwater, Ariz., man who was brought into the emergency room at Shiprock.
    He was identified as 38-year-old Johnny Fred Begay.
    FBI Supervisory Special Agent Darrin Jones says he likely died of repeated blunt force trauma to the head.
    Begay was dead when he was brought to the Shiprock hospital Friday.
    Investigators believe he was killed in Sweetwater, and the investigation was forwarded to the FBI in Phoenix.
