Two of Three Rock Slide Victims Identified

      GALLUP — The Gallup Police Department has identified two of the three people killed in a rock slide.
    They were 41-year-old Randolph Begay and his girlfriend, 38-year-old Alvira Yazzie, both of Navajo, said police Sgt. Matt Wright.
    The three people were trapped under a boulder about 12 feet wide.
    The area where the bodies were found is known as a place where homeless people camp.
    An indigent reported the deaths to police Monday.
    Police have not been able to reach the families of the third person killed.
    The bodies were identified by the state Office of the Medical Investigator.
