Woman Arrested in Death at Alamogordo Motel

    ALAMOGORDO — A 49-year-old woman has been charged with first-degree murder in a slaying at an Alamogordo motel.
    Alamogordo police said Graciela Guerra was arrested in the stabbing death late Tuesday of 27-year-old Brenda Guerra.
    Officers who went to the motel Tuesday afternoon about a fight found Brenda Guerra dead of stab wounds inside one of the rooms and Graciela Guerra outside the room.
    The Alamogordo Daily News reports that police arrested Graciela Guerra after searching the room and an Alamogordo residence.
