Dog Poisonings Reported in Radium Springs

Associated Press
RADIUM SPRINGS — The Dona Ana County Sheriff's Department is investigating a rash of dog poisonings in Radium Springs.
Investigator Bo Nevarez says officers are looking into one report of five poisoned dogs and are aware of other animals being poisoned.
The Las Cruces Sun-News reports that authorities are asking pet owners in the area to come forward if they think their animals have been poisoned.
A Las Cruces veterinarian, Carol Calista, says the most common type of poison in the county is antifreeze.
