Drone Runs Off Runway at Cannon AFB

Associated Press
CANNON AIR FORCE BASE — Cannon Air Force Base officials say an unmanned aerial drone has run off the runway at the eastern New Mexico base.
An MQ-1B Predator assigned to Cannon's 3rd Special Operations Squadron taxied off the runway through a perimeter fence Wednesday morning.
It came to rest in an adjacent field.
    There were no injuries.
Base officials said the craft carried inert training munitions that pose no hazard.
