Crash in Farmington Sends 5 to the Hospital

Associated Press
FARMINGTON — Five people including young children are hospitalized in Farmington after a serious collision involving a Jeep and a car Thursday evening.
Farmington police Cpl. Casey Malone said a dad driving his 11- and 4-year-old children in a Suzuki sedan collided with a Jeep. Firefighters removed the seriously-injured children from the Suzuki. They were taken to San Juan Regional Medical Center.
Malone said their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
The father and the two adults in the Jeep were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Names and other information about the people involved in the crash were not available Thursday night.
Malone said police were investigating the crash.
Neither alcohol nor drugs appeared to be involved.
