Gallup Gives City Manager a Raise

Associated Press
GALLUP — Gallup city councilors say they're pleased with the job City Manager Gerald Herrera has done in his first year, and they're rewarding him by raising his salary $2,500 a year.
That increases Herrera's salary to $87,500 annually.
Mayor Harry Mendoza says he wishes the raise could have been larger, but that the budget in the northwestern New Mexico community is tight.
