Gallup Gives City Manager a Raise
Associated Press
GALLUP Gallup city councilors say they're pleased with the job City Manager Gerald Herrera has done in his first year, and they're rewarding him by raising his salary $2,500 a year.
That increases Herrera's salary to $87,500 annually.
Mayor Harry Mendoza says he wishes the raise could have been larger, but that the budget in the northwestern New Mexico community is tight.
