Woman Pleads Guilty in Fatal Stabbing of Las Cruces Student

      FORT WAYNE, Ind. — A Fort Wayne woman has pleaded guilty to murder in the stabbing death of her daughter's roommate in her college dormitory room.
    Tina Morris made her guilty plea today in Allen Superior Court. Defense attorney Anthony Churchward said that under a plea agreement the 36-year-old woman faces a maximum sentence of 60 years in prison and the remaining charges of felony murder, robbery and auto theft are being dismissed.
    Twenty-two-year-old Liette "Lola" Martinez of Las Cruces was found stabbed in her Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne dorm room in April.
    Authorities say that Morris told investigators the stabbing happened after she confronted Martinez about an argument Martinez had with her daughter.
