Boy Fatally Beaten on Jicarilla Apache Reservation

DULCE — The FBI says a 3-year-old boy has died of injuries he suffered when he was beaten on the Jicarilla Apache reservation.
Special Agent Darrin Jones says Treston Paiz died Wednesday night.
A criminal complaint says the boy suffered head injuries, and his body was covered with bruises and whip marks.
The FBI arrested the boy's father Sunday at his home in Dulce.
