Aggie Hoopster Rejects Plea Deal

Associated Press
LAS CRUCES — A New Mexico State University basketball player accused of indecent exposure has turned down a plea deal with prosecutors.
Assistant District Attorney Nelson Goodin says 21-year-old Jahmar Young has declined the deal he had been set to accept last month.
Goodin declined to discuss specifics of the proposed agreement.
A trial is slated Sept. 14 for Young, who is charged with petty misdemeanor and misdemeanor counts of assault, battery and resisting arrest.
Court documents say he is accused of exposing himself on the NMSU campus last summer to a woman and offering her money if she would perform act on him.
    Young has denied the allegations.
