Associated Press
A grass fire burning south of Lordsburg remains active, and crews are doing burnout operations to protect several structures.
New Mexico State Forestry Division spokesman Dan Ware said Friday that none of the structures is immediately threatened.
The Pasco Fire on the Gray Ranch in southwest New Mexico has burned across 120 square miles (76,800 acres).
A separate 86 square mile (55,000-acre) fire burning in grass and shrubs east of Roswell is 70 percent contained.
The Cato Fire is burning in what's described as an inaccessible area about 50 miles from Roswell.
For a time the fire threatened six structures, but Ware said it's no longer moving forward and crews are concentrating on mopping up.
