LAS CRUCES A former Las Cruces church deacon accused of secretly videotaping women and girls to create sexually explicit videos has been indicted.
A Dona Ana County grand jury on Thursday indicted 55-year-old Terry Dean Gibson on nine felony counts of sexual exploitation of children.
The Las Cruces Sun-News reports the former Baptist deacon remains free on $150,000 bond.
Gibson was arrested March 28 by Las Cruces police following a two-year investigation.
Investigators allege Gibson videotaped women and girls at his backyard swimming pool during parties for youth and Bible study groups and used a hidden camera in a briefcase to videotape up the skirts of women and girls at stores.
