Nine-month-old Alijah Blue was diagnosed with infant leukemia last October. Since then, much of his time has been spent undergoing chemotherapy treatments at Children's Hospital of New Mexico in Albuquerque.

His cancer is in remission. Few infants survive the deadly blood disorder, though. Worse, few withstand the intensive chemotherapy used to treat it.
