Bridal Fairs to Be Held This Month

    Bridal shows abound this month, and we have rounded up a few to get you started planning your special day.
    The month starts off with the Peak Wedding 2003, sponsored by KPEK-FM 100.3.
    The show is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the Hyatt Regency Downtown, with fashion shows at 1:30 and 3 p.m. featuring bridal wear, lingerie and trousseau fashions. Brides get in free, and their guests are $5.
    Next week is Winter BrideFiesta 2003, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 12 at the Sheraton Old Town. This event features a "Guys Time Out" room, with a fireplace, cocktails and televisions for football-watching. Fashion shows are at 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. American Home is the presenting sponsor, and other sponsors include KKOB-FM, Gingiss Formalwear, KOAT-TV and Sheraton Old Town. Tickets are $8 and are available through TicketMaster, at Brides by Demetrios, at Gingiss Formalwear and at the door. Portions of the proceeds benefit the New Mexico Cultural Foundation.     Then there is Bridal Fantasy 2003, expected to draw 100 vendors to the Albuquerque Convention Center. That's from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 19, featuring a fashion show at 1 p.m. with models from The Eaton Agency. Tickets are $6 in advance at Mark Pardo Salon and Spa or Mr. Tux, $7 at the door.
