Making a Difference 2009
   It takes fortitude, grace and compassion to make a difference. It takes character and courage to be the change you want to see in the world.
   If you know a high school senior girl who embodies those qualities, nominate her for the 2009 SAGE Making a Difference award.
   The award is sponsored by the Albuquerque Journal’s SAGE magazine and local businesses. Winners receive gift certificates from local businesses and are honored at a spring luncheon featuring a keynote address from a prominent New Mexico woman.
   Applications must include a nomination letter, not to exceed 300 words, and an essay, about 500 words, written by the nominee about what she’s doing to make a difference and why.
