Fans who missed Matt Kemp’s first trip to Albuquerque will have another chance to see him.
Kemp, the Los Angeles Dodgers star outfielder, will complete his latest rehab assignment by playing at Isotopes Park Saturday (7:05 p.m. start) and Sunday (6:05 p.m.). Kemp is scheduled to play nine innings in center field Saturday and nine as designated hitter Sunday as the ’Topes conclude their series against Round Rock.

Kemp suggested on Twitter that he will be excited to be here as he continues his recovery from injury.
A balky left hamstring has landed Kemp on the disabled list twice this season and limited him to 36 games with the Dodgers. When he’s played, Kemp has performed, hitting .355 with 12 home runs.
The outfielder certainly seemed comfortable when he joined the Isotopes on a rehab trip in late May, going 5-for-7 in two games with a pair of homers and five RBIs. Then after appearing in just two games with L.A., Kemp re-aggravated his hamstring strain running the bases in a game against Milwaukee on May 30 and was placed on the DL for a second time the next day.
This time around Kemp started his rehab with Class-A Rancho Cucamonga. He joined the Quakes on Tuesday and has said he intends to participate in the Major League All-Star Home Run Derby in Kansas City on Monday.
