Monday: Osvaldo Martinez’s two-run double capped a four-run seventh inning that lifted the ’Topes to a 9-8 victory over Memphis in front of 4,876 fans at Isotopes Park.
Albuquerque trailed 6-1 after four innings and 8-5 after six.
But Matt Angle’s RBI double, a run-scoring single by Elian Herrera and Martinez’s double down the right-field line turned the tables in a hurry. Michael Antonini (2-6) pitched two scoreless innings of relief for the win, with Scott Rice working the ninth for his sixth save.
Angle finished 3-for-4 for the Isotopes, and Scott Van Slyke smacked a two-run homer for Albuquerque. Mark Hamilton was 4-for-5 to pace the Redbirds.
