Monday: Catcher Tyler Ogle had an impressive Triple-A debut as the ’Topes capped the regular season with a 4-3 win over Omaha in front of 10,989 fans at Isotopes Park. Ogle, called up from Single-A Great Lakes on Saturday, was 3-for-3 and drove in all four of Albuquerque’s runs.
Francisco Felix (1-1) worked 3⅔ scoreless innings of relief for the win, and Scott Rice earned his ninth save for the Isotopes, who finished the regular season 80-64. Veteran catcher Josh Bard served as honorary manager for the ’Topes.
Coming up: After playing the first two games of a best-of-five series in Omaha, the ’Topes and Storm Chasers will play game three at Isotopes Park at 7:05 p.m. Games four and five (if necessary) will be Saturday and Sunday in Albuquerque.
