Apollo Wright
Lobos football coach Bob Davie has completed his staff for 2013 with the hiring of Apollo Wright from Florida International as UNM’s running backs coach.
Wright’s bio went up on UNM’s athletics website this morning. An official announcement was made later in the day.
Wright replaces DeAndre Smith, who left UNM to become the running backs coach at Syracuse. Last week, UNM officially announced that Scott Baumgartner, most recently the wide receivers coach at Nevada, has been hired to replace Taylor Stubblefield, who left for Wake Forest.
