- Full game story: Crimson and over

INTERESTING STAT: Steve Alford is now 1-3 in the NCAA tournament coaching a #3 seed, losing to a #14 seed twice (2006 and 2013) and a #11 seed (2010).

— StatFan

WOW, WHAT a great athletic administration department UNM has. Give Alford a raise and extension before he enters the tournament. I’ve never heard of that business tactic. They should have probably waited till after he made it out of round 1.

— Erica

WHAT A PATHETIC, embarrassing performance by the Lobo Men tonight. We finally have a chance to get some national recognition and instead they set the program back at least 10 years.

— Very Disgruntled

I WILL NEVER ever understand Kendall!

— UNM Alumnus

FROM BEGINNING to end Harvard was better prepared and more aggressive. Reading speak up should be interesting.

And Twitter. A sampling:

Seth Davis @SethDavisHoops

The only good thing about my horrendous Montana pick is that it obscures the fact that I picked New Mexico to go to the Final Four.

America, we are sorry for messing up your brackets and also your financial system and everything else.

Ralph D. Russo@ralphDrussoAP

10 more years of this in Albuquerque, huh? OK then.

Paul Newberry @pnewberry1963 13m

Harvard advances in the #NCAA tournament. Welcome to Obama’s America.

Travis Lazarczyk @TLazarczykMTM

Well, my bracket’s done. Thanks for nothing, New Mexico.

Remember, @UNMLOBOS nation, what an incredible hoops season this has been!! Awesome year, regardless of tonight.
