Vs. Iowa, 6:35 p.m.

Radio: 610 AM

Probable starters: Isotopes RHP Sean White (0-0, 0.00) vs. Storm Chasers RHP Brian Sanches (0-0, 0.00).

Sunday: Nick Buss went 4-for-4 with a home run and three Isotopes pitchers combined on a gem as Albuquerque defeated visiting Iowa 7-3. The ’Topes completed a four-game sweep in front of 5,668 fans.

Javy Guerra, Angel Castro (1-0) and Steve Smith handcuffed the I-Cubs on four hits, three of them coming in the ninth inning. Ryan Sweeney’s solo homer in the second was Iowa’s only hit through the first eight innings.

The Isotopes, meanwhile, collected 13 hits. Scott Van Slyke’s two-run double in the first inning gave the home team a lead it would not relinquish. Van Slyke later homered and finished 2-for-3 with three RBIs.

This and that: Speculation abounds that Dodgers starting pitcher Ted Lilly could make a rehab start in Albuquerque this week. Lilly made a start for Class-A Rancho Cucamonga and is on track to pitch again Wednesday. … After acquiring Ramon Hernandez in a trade Saturday, the Dodgers had three catchers on their big-league roster Sunday. Barring another move, 2012 PCL All-Star Tim Federowicz could be back in an Isotopes uniform in the near future.
