Scorps Goalie Honored by CHL New Mexico Scorpions goaltender Kyle McNulty is the Central Hockey League goaltender of the week. McNulty led the Scorps to a 3-1 record last week, including two wins during the team’s three-game road trip last weekend to south Texas. The Wakefield, R.I., native had a 3.22 goalsagainst average for the week and a .906 save percentage. McNulty is 6-3 in 12 appearances with New Mexico since joining the team last month. New Mexico (21-29-2, 44 points) is home Wednesday night to Amarillo at the Santa Ana Star Center. Etc. … LOBO GOLF: In Puerto Penasco, Mexico, UNM’s Jodi Ewart is one shot out of the lead heading into the final round of the Arizona Wildcat Invitational. Ewart fired a 1-under 71 on Monday. The Lobos are in 12th place in the 17-team event. RMAC: Sandia Prep grad Dale Minschwaner of Colorado Mines has been selected RMAC division player of the week. The 6-4 freshman averaged 18.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists in two games last week.
