Native of Belen to sing songs from new disc

          Singer Keith Sanchez, a native of Belen, will perform at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, July 31, at Low Spirits Bar & Stage, 2823 Second NW.
        He will perform some tunes from his new 10-song CD, "Muse." The music is a blend of soul, blues, Latin, pop and rock.
        Sanchez is the main performer and music director for Carlos Santana's Maria Maria restaurants.
        Growing up in Belen, young Keith admired his father's singing. His father taught him the aspects of music, from playing guitar to singing songs by the King himself, Elvis Presley. The father encouraged him to use that talent wisely by joining the Belen Middle School talent show.
        Tickets are $7.
