N.M. Senate District 13: Feldman Seeking 4th Term

Journal Staff Report
The race for the state Senate District 13 seat on the Democratic side pits incumbent Sen. Dede Feldman against Carlos Cordova.
The two will square off in the June primary to secure their party's nomination for the North Valley district at the Roundhouse.
Feldman is seeking her fourth term, having been a state senator since 1997.
The 61-year-old Albuquerque resident has worked as a public relations consultant since 1985. She also was an adjunct professor at the University of New Mexico and the University of Albuquerque from 1981 to 1994, as a journalist from 1975 to 1982 and as a high school teacher from 1970 to 1975.
Feldman received a B.A. in political science and a M.A. in political science from the University of Pennsylvania.
Attempts to reach Cordova during the past month have been unsuccessful.
