Drier Weather Expected on Thursday, Friday
Associated Press
New Mexico should have drier weather Thursday and Friday as high pressure builds over the state from the west, the National Weather Service said.
A cold front should drop south into the state Friday night or Saturday, bringing increased moisture into the state.
Chances for showers and thunderstorms should rise this weekend and early next week.
Showers and thunderstorms lingered through Tuesday night over portions of New Mexico, primarily across the south.
Low temperatures before sunrise today ranged from the upper 30s and 40s over the northern mountains to the 50s and mid-60s elsewhere.
High temperatures Tuesday ranged from 67 degrees at Cloudcroft to 91 degrees at Deming and Farmington.
