Thunderstorms To Stick Around This Week

Associated Press
Rainfall on Tuesday will focus on western New Mexico, mainly south of Interstate 40 and west of the central mountains, the National Weather Service said.
Rain will be widespread over all but eastern New Mexico on Wednesday, when rain will be heavier over the southwestern mountains and along the central mountains.
Low pressure will slowly deepen over the Four Corners on Thursday, tapping another plume of moisture moving northward out of Mexico into Arizona.
The moisture will recharge New Mexico's shower and thunderstorm pattern heading into next weekend.
Thunderstorms early today moved northeast toward the Sandia and Manzano mountains and toward southern Lincoln County and extreme southwestern Chaves County.
A few thunderstorms popped up before dawn over southern Roosevelt and eastern Chaves counties.
High temperatures Sunday ranged from 64 degrees at Cloudcroft to 89 degrees at Farmington.
