More Wind in Forecast

Associated Press
Gusty wind will sweep across New Mexico Thursday as a weak upper-level disturbance passes north of the state, the National Weather Service said.
The windy, dry weather will make conditions prime for fire across much of the east.
Wind and critical fire weather conditions will continue Friday.
A storm passing to the north of the state will bring a cold front south Saturday, causing more wind and lower temperatures.
Wind will die down Sunday but will kick up again early next week.
A line of showers and thunderstorms persisted early this morning over the eastern plains, while the west remained dry.
Low temperatures before sunrise ranged from the 30s and 40s over the mountains and the northwest to the 50s and 60s across the southern and eastern lowlands.
High temperatures Tuesday ranged from 64 degrees at Cloudcroft to 89 degrees at Tucumcari.
