Escape Locks Down Prison at Los Lunas

  LOS LUNAS — Inmates at Central New Mexico Correctional Facility in Los Lunas were locked in their cells today after the escape of one prisoner. Authorities say 32-year-old Toby Ernest Romero was serving a 2 1/2-year sentence for possession of a controlled substance, receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle and criminal damage to property.
